Igeta & Sun Company is a joint venture between Igeta Co., Ltd. in Osaka, Japan and The Sun in
Mandalay. It is a company that produces various kinds of wire mesh. “Igeta” has 60 years of
experience in the production of wire mesh in Japan, and is a major manufacturer of wire mesh
for domestic use in Japan as well as for export. It now brings its technology and equipment to
Myanmar and has established Igeta & Sun Company to support Myanmar’s construction industry.
Igeta & Sun is located in the Japan-Myanmar Thilawa Special Economic Zone.
